Camping with the Clarks - Aug. 13-17/09

We always have a great time as a family during camping season. We start on the May long weekend and camp every 2nd weekend, with at least one longer trip in there somewhere.

This year, there was no exception to our schedule, but our 2009 camping season has been the best so far as we were able to share it with so many of our great friends. Up to August, we had spent time with the Pakosz family, the Close family, the Brown family and this past weekend, August 13-17, we got to hang out with our wonderful friends, Jordan, Kari & Peyton Clark.

It was a very rainy weekend, the first time we had to bring long pants, sweaters and jackets, but we had fun nonetheless. Jordan, Kari & Peyton spent time together as a family, as did we, but we got some good time in together as well. With visits to the Fossil Museum, the swimming pool, riding bikes through puddles and many a laugh during a late-night game of 'Nerts' (KJC&P were sleeping!), we had a fantastic few days with the Clarks.
