It's that time again...GO FLAMES GO!!!

As you will see from the pictures, Sept. 28-30 was a very Calgary Flames weekend in our house, with the boys trying on their new jerseys - the newly designed jerseys that have just come out. They won't wear these jerseys until next year though as they are size 4-6. In the meantime, they still have their old jerseys to wear, which they did all day Saturday at Shaker's Family Fun Centre. Their Flames hats also came out to play, around the house. It's a fun game for the boys to decide which way to wear their hat...and then change their mind over & over again.

In other news...Keegan, Josh & Connolly are almost officially 2-1/2 years old now. Their language improves with every day that goes by. They even like to 'order' us around by telling us to move, get up, sit, kiss, hug, or whatever they feel we should be doing. The three of them are great little helpers around the house, helping with emptying the dishwasher, putting dirty dishes in the sink, cleaning up their toys and even putting garbage in the garbage can.

Connolly likes to pick his own shirt colour and then he tells us which colours Keegan and Josh will wear. They are very fashion conscious! :o) Connolly is the most picky of the three boys (he has to have a particular spoon, always wear the purple Wiggles shirt, etc.), Keegan is the little boss ('Don't touch, Donndy') and Josh is the most passive, but he can hold his own when he needs to. Three different personalities, but the best of friends.

We started the potty training process about a month ago, and it is coming along slowly. We're not in much of a rush, so when they get it, they get it. The boys are loving their 'big boy beds', though nap time seems to have become more of a play time for them...even in the dark...than a time for them to have a few hours sleep.

This year will be the first year for the boys to dress up for Halloween and go 'Trick or Treat'-ing. We are going to take them to the houses around our cul-de-sac and then to Mama Tricia's & Papa Se's. I think that will be more than enough candy for Stephen & I to eat!! LOL As for their costumes, we decided not to go with a 'three' theme, at least for this year. We're not sure who will be what yet, but the costumes we have are a kangaroo, a zebra and a lion. They are going to look so cute...and be nice 'n warm doing it.

Since the boys can't wear the jerseys just yet, they will be displayed on the basement wall until it's time...
