What an exciting month October has been around here.
We went from talking about putting an addition on our house, to meeting with our realtor to discuss new home options in case an addition was going to cost too much, to saying if we choose to buy a new home or do an addition, it won't be at least until Spring 2008, to buying a new home the next week and selling our current home after only 48 hours on the market...and OVER the asking price to boot!!!!
So moving day begins at 12 Noon on Friday, December 14th, 2007. We are moving from our beautiful 1184 sq. foot home to an even more beautiful 2083 sq. foot home, a home we plan to make the one we live in for the rest of our lives and that we will build the most memories with the boys.
It is definitely going to be hard leaving our current house as we have lived in it longer than any other home since we got married 11 years ago. 7 - 1/2 years of our life together has been spent in this house. It is the boys first home, it is the home Buster died in. We will leave so many memories behind.
But we move on and up to build wonderful memories in our new house; a house that provides us more than enough room to let the boys run 100 metre dashes from the front door to the back door, to have our siblings and their families stay when they come to town, without sleeping on a sofa bed in the middle of our 'movie' room, and more than enough bathrooms for me to choose from, allowing me to avoid competing for a bathroom with 4 men!!
We are so blessed with wonderful parents and families who have supported us through this very quick decision. And we know we'll be able to count on so many of our friends to help us on moving day. Pizza & Beer for everyone...of course!!!
