The Flames Experience

We took Keegan, Josh & Connolly to the Flames SuperSkills competition on Sunday. We had so much fun. We arrived at the Dome at 9:15am, thinking we would be nice 'n early to get a good parking spot. We got a good spot, but we weren't the only ones who had that idea!!

We stood waiting for the doors to open for about 35 minutes and then, when they did, we raced for the lower bowl. We were in section 101, 4 rows from the ice. It actually was a great place to be as most of the action happened at that end of the ice.

The boys had fun cheering on the Red and White teams, while enjoying popcorn, hot dogs and twizzlers. The highlight for Keegan, Josh & Connolly was meeting Harvey the Hound, twice!!

The first time, Harvey came right by where we were sitting and posed for a pic with the boys. When he left, Keegan started to run after him yelling 'kiss, kiss'. When we were leaving the Dome, we caught Harvey in the corridor and he gave the boys more hugs. Keegan was able to blow Harvey a kiss this time.

When we got home, it was back to the routine of cars, trucks, trains and books. Then Keegan, Josh & Connolly enjoyed a 3-hour long nap. The boys first Flames experience was a fun morning for all of us.
