Keegan, Josh, Connolly and I stayed huddled inside on Friday, drinking hot chocolate, playing cars, colouring, visiting with Mama Tricia and watching movies. In the evening, 'Auntie' Bebe (Phoebe) and 'Uncle' Greg (we had to remind the boys this was NOT the same Greg from the Wiggles, as they kept asking if Jeff, Anthony and Murray were coming over too!) came over to have pizza and watch the Flames game. The boys anxiously watched for their car to pull up and when they arrived, it was like a energy switched turned on cause Keegan, Josh & Connolly went crazy.
Phoebe and Greg had fun playing with the boys. Greg even got a personal tour from them of their bedrooms. When it was bedtime, Phoebe & Greg witnessed the routine that we go through every night (and hardly ever waiver from). Routines are good when there's triplets involved!!
Saturday, we spent an hour or so outside in the mounds of snow that had fallen over night. Keegan and Josh even decided to taste the snow...the non-yellow snow of course! ;o) After throwing a few snowballs and getting snow dumped on them by Daddy as he shoveled the deck, the boys were happy to come inside and warm up with some hot chocolate and a snack.
Sunday, we will be taking the boys to the Calgary Flames SuperSkills Competition. We hope to get close enough that the boys might get to meet some of the players. There'll be pictures of the event posted sometime in the near future, so stay tuned. In the meantime...
